In my experience most women don't have orgsams through penetration, it's touch that's key and the clitoris that's the important part.

I've found that oral sex almost invariably leads to orgasms but some women aren't keen on that.

As Tom has said, I think you need to find the right time to ask her and then see where it leads. Hopefully she should recognise that you're trying to make your love life even better.
